So i love music a lot, but recently haven't been finding anything that i could dig on and not get sick of. Such as Michael Jackson, I've never had a problem with Michael's music just his personal life. But I can always listen to it and feel 100's of times better about my day.
I am a huge fan of musicians from underground areas places like waco,texas and that type of thing but recently everyone that's coming out of the woodworks sound all the same.
I suggest to all of you reading that you check out a girl named Anuhea (a-new-hey-ya), she's from Maui and she's actually a friend of mines sister and she's very talented.

I also adore when people can cover a band or a song and it comes out just as good or better. Here are some videos of covers that I love the most.
And guess what? I know that girl! That's my friend Shela from Ben and Jerry's down in Sea Port holla at my girl she's got some pipes. :) , she sings so beautifully I keep telling her she needs to do a special cover just for me of some MJ or maybe some Alicia Keys.... Speaking of Ms. Keys..
So yeah. That's reallllly good, i love that song it's so perfect and speaks to the plight of men and women in relationships everywhere. If you've seen the movie He's Just Not That Into You or if you've read that : "If he's not calling you, he's just not that into you." True true true. That's why I don't mess with them punks no more :)

I think I like this Shela you know ;) and she does have some god-given pipes to be proud of. Definitely did the song some justice. Maybe even better than Sara's original.
ReplyDeleteSorry it took me so long to get back to you on the story. I'm loving the characters, but did you really translate the names into latin? If not, then you could be even more accurate by using a translator. But mythology is always open for interpretation so whatever goes :)
I really want to write but I've been to lazy to. I've always liked the story of the seven sisters (chinese ghost story) but I didn't think of it until you sent me yours. I'd like to take a stab at it, but make it more modern and maybe switch things up (make it Greek instead of Chinese or something). How does that sound?
Sounds pretty sweet. A majority of the names are the original Latin or Greek names given to those words such as wrath and envy but I wanted to make them modern. I'm trying to put the story in modern times but i needed to explain why it was that this happened to them first so it has to take place in the past for a bit. But there will be some cuties to throw off the balances i just dont know who i will make them.
